Interview Release
We are all made of stories.
House of Leorah is a storytelling, publishing, podcasting, and media company dedicated to preserving stories, amplifying voices, exploring imagination, and creating meaningful content across current and future formats. This release governs participation in any podcast, interview, voice recording, audio submission, video recording, livestream, media appearance, or future media project with House of Leorah.
Minimum age requirement (18+)
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to participate in any podcast, interview, audio recording, video recording, livestream, or media appearance with House of Leorah. Any participation by a person under 18 may be removed or unpublished without notice.
License grant
By participating in any podcast, interview, voice recording, audio submission, video recording, livestream, media appearance, or future media project with House of Leorah, participants grant House of Leorah a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to:
- Record
- Edit
- Publish
- Republish
- Archive
- Promote
- Distribute
- Reproduce
- Adapt
- Monetize
- Create excerpts from
such recordings across all current and future media channels.
Where the recording may appear
This includes, without limitation:
- Podcasts
- Articles
- Newsletters
- Social media
- Audio stories
- Video content
- Marketing materials
- Anthologies
- Books
- Future House of Leorah projects
Editorial control
Participants acknowledge recordings may be edited for clarity, quality, compliance, editorial standards, and storytelling purposes. Editorial decisions are final.
Right to refuse or remove
House of Leorah reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject participation, decline to publish a recording, edit or unpublish a recording, archive content, or restrict access at any time without explanation.
Third-party privacy
Participants are responsible for not disclosing identifying information about third parties without appropriate permission. House of Leorah may remove names, locations, employers, and identifying details, or anonymize content at its discretion.
Participant warranties
By participating, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- You have the right and authority to participate, including the rights to any third-party material you reference or share during the recording.
- Your participation does not knowingly infringe the copyright, trademark, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
- You are solely responsible for the statements you make and the material you share.
Participant communications
Participants agree that House of Leorah may contact them regarding their participation, publication opportunities, editorial questions or revisions, additional interviews, future House of Leorah projects, and legal or administrative matters related to their recording. Participation does not subscribe a participant to the newsletter — that is a separate opt-in.
Indemnification
Participants agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless House of Leorah, its owners, editors, contributors, contractors, affiliates, successors, assigns, and representatives from and against any claims arising from or relating to their participation, statements made during the recording, copyright or intellectual property claims, defamation, privacy or publicity rights claims, or breaches of participant warranties.
No expectation of compensation
Unless expressly agreed in writing, participants are not entitled to royalties, revenue sharing, licensing fees, profit participation, or other compensation arising from publication, adaptation, promotion, or monetization of recordings.
Changes to this release
House of Leorah reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this release at any time. Updated versions become effective upon publication.
