House of Leorah respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how contributors warrant ownership of what they submit, how House of Leorah handles claims of alleged copyright infringement, and the steps copyright holders can take to request removal.
Contributor representations regarding ownership
By submitting any content, creative works, stories, or media, contributors represent and warrant that:
- They are the creator, owner, or authorized rights holder of the submitted content.
- They possess all rights, permissions, licenses, and authority necessary to submit the content.
- The content does not knowingly infringe upon the copyright, trademark, publicity rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
- The content has not been unlawfully copied, reproduced, or misappropriated from another source.
- Any third-party material included within the submission has been properly licensed, authorized, or otherwise legally incorporated.
Contributor responsibility
Contributors are solely responsible for the content they submit. House of Leorah does not independently verify ownership, authorship, originality, legality, factual accuracy, or licensing status of submitted content prior to review or publication. Copyright and intellectual property disputes remain the responsibility of the submitting contributor.
How to report alleged infringement
If you believe content published on House of Leorah infringes your copyright, send a notice to us through our contact page.
What to include in your notice
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on House of Leorah that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL is ideal).
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Upon receipt of a notice, House of Leorah reserves the right to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice to the contributor, while the matter is reviewed.
House of Leorah may also forward a copy of the notice to the contributor who submitted the material and may, in appropriate cases, terminate the contributor's ability to submit further content.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through our contact page including your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction as required by applicable law.
Misrepresentations
Submitting a knowingly false notice or counter-notice may result in liability under applicable law, including for damages and attorneys' fees.
AI-generated and hybrid works
Certain content published by House of Leorah may include AI-generated text, AI-generated imagery, AI-generated audio, AI-assisted creative works, or hybrid works combining human and AI contributions.
House of Leorah claims copyright ownership only to the extent permitted by applicable law regarding its original compilations, editorial work, curation, branding, designs, and creative contributions across all current and future media formats. See our AI Content Disclosure for more.
Changes to this policy
House of Leorah reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this policy at any time. Updated versions become effective upon publication.
